Estate Planning & Administration
Nick’s practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, tax planning, and wealth transfer. He has experience in the preparation of wills and trusts, post mortem planning and administration, lifetime gifting and other tax planning strategies, charitable planning, and matters concerning family business operations. Nick is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and has served as an Assistant Editor for the California Trusts and Estates Quarterly. He is also AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” on the Northern California Super Lawyers® list.
Nick earned his B.S. degree from Santa Clara University, cum laude, and his J.D. from the University of Arkansas, School of Law, magna cum laude. While in law school, Nick was a Pearson Fellow and a member of the Arkansas Law Review. Nick completed his studies at Northwestern University, School of Law where he earned his LL.M. degree in taxation, with honors.
Nick is a member of the California State Bar and the Monterey County Bar Association. He has also volunteered for various charitable organizations, is a director of the Montage Health Foundation, and is President of the Monterey/Salinas chapter of the Santa Clara University Alumni Association.
